                                 ELECTION PARTY

Los días pasaron y pronto la velada de Halloween llegó, todos estaban planeando que harían, ¿que fiesta celebrarían? ¿De que se disfrazarían? Pero el cáliz tuvo otros planes y esa misma velada empezó a lanzar los papelitos con cada nombre de los seleccionados, había dos tipos de papeles unos en tonos dorados y otros en tonos de bronce, pronto se supo que esos colores definían quiénes eran los concursantes principales y quiénes serían de apoyo o secundarios. Los alumnos estaban extasiados y pronto la fiesta de Halloween se transformó en una fiesta para celebrar a los seleccionados

¿De qué trata este evento?

La Directora McGonagall a decidido anunciar a los participantes del torneo en este banquete elaborado para Halloween donde cada personaje viene disfrazado de lo que guste. Se dividirán en grupos, representando su escuela y además a su casa. Los personajes elegidos principales participarán en todas las pruebas, los secundarios participaran como apoyo en algunas pruebas (sin importar su casa) y el resto será elegido aleatoriamente para participar pero siempre podrán ser espectadores.

Three Portuguese reds

Portugal is such an interesting wine country. These are three interesting wines that I’ve recently tried. The Almeida Garret is superb value, especially.

Alves de Sousa Quinta da Gaivosa 2015 Douro, Portugal 14.5% alcohol. Dense, ripe and nicely structured. Sweet plum, blackberry and cherry fruit with herbs and spices. This is a rich style of Douro, but it has balance and intensity, with an appealing savoury twist to the sleek fruit. Nice potential for development. 93/100

Altano Organic Red 2016 Douro, Portugal 13.5% alcohol. Floral black cherry nose with some olive hints. The palate is fresh and supple with bright berry and cherry fruits. There’s a sleekness but also some freshness. Supple and stylish with some grip. 90/100 (c£12 stockists National / Online: Amazon, Waitrose, E.H. Almeida Garret Entre Serras 2015 Beira Interior, Portugal 13.5% alcohol. From the slopes of the Serra d’Estrela, with granite soils, this is a blend of Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barocca and Trincadeira. This is so fresh and bright with nice concentration and freshness. Lovely black cherry and blackberry fruit with good acidity and bright, focused fruit. Hints of meat and olive too: delicious stuff. 90/100 (£6.25 The Wine Society)

Hello everyone! I’m back from out of the country and able to start posting art again! I’m about to be busy for the next six years of my life with veterinary school and research so I’m not going to try and stick to a rigid posting schedule but I’ll definitely share what I finish.

This is my old but newly played DnD character Fenwick Lancaster and his Dragonborn daughter Stanley. He stole her from a cult and now he’s on the run and off to a life of adventure. How else are you going to financially support a new baby? He hasn’t the slightest idea what it takes to raise a child but he thinks he’s good at everything else so this should be a breeze. Feed her, sing to her, teach her cool tricks; he and his daughter are going to be the coolest adventuring duo around. Good thing Dragonborn are a little sturdier than human babies.

                                GET THE TOTEM

La primera prueba ha sido anunciada mediante una carta a cada participante: un laberinto, trabajo en equipo, un tótem para cada concursante. Se han escogido 6 capitanes los cuales tuvieron que seleccionar a 7 miembros (1 de cada casa y dos secundarios) , juntos deben entrar a un laberinto donde se encuentran escondidos unos guardapelo con las iniciales de cada miembro. El objetivo: recuperarlos y salir del lugar todos juntos Y sin importar cuánto sean compañeros de otro miembro no pueden ayudarse pues por esta ocasión su equipo son sus amigos. Más no crean que dentro solo es un laberinto pues hay pruebas para todos y solo estando unidos las superarán   

¿De qué trata este evento?

Es la primera prueba del torneo, el objetivo es que puedan trabajar con otras personas que no formen parte ni de su misma casa o escuela y tratar de encontrar el totem. Por supuesto que existen obstáculos que deberán de enfrentar. Todo el torneo será evaluado para al final obtener una puntuación.
